Nice goal, but NTC Vlasic and Arizona really don't the motivation for a trade. Lebanc looks like he isn't worth his contract now,

Labanc is negative value. The way to get back into the mix is wait a couple years, then start the buyout parade.

The sharks should have done a wholesale sell off, but they screwed it up again.

That is a challenge. I could see a situation where Arizona retains 50 percent and it’s only a 2.25 mil contact and he goes to a more competitive team.

Labanc contact isn’t the best but if we play the market right I’m sure we could find a team looking to stay in the mix with adding a top 6 piece

Boston has zero interest in Labanc at this point.

Damn, retaining $10 mil of Vlasic giving up two young guys and likely a high 1st? Don’t like that at all

10 mil over 28 mil. Check
Replacing them with two guys(William and Thomas) in the depth chart who are better than chem and Noah. Check
It’s two years out. It’s a bet on ourself. With the young core we are building. We should be in the playoffs by then. Kinda check.

Could see your guys getting desperate to keep your window alive. Only would be technically adding 3 mil in cap at the moment. Would give you another option to spread around your top 6/9.

Vlasic isn't waiving his full NMC to go to Arizona and play in an NCAA arena.

Nope. Zero interest. Zero need. Pasta, Smith, Lysell, McLaughlin, Steen all RW options among others. Debrusk has surprisingly fit in well at RW1 an no guarantee he is moved. Then there is free agency. If they really want a RW they can bring one in without giving up assets.

Adding a 3rd liner is not “keeping your window open.” Keeping the window open is resigning Bergy. And right now they only have 5m in cap space in the offseason. Are not wasting it on unneeded, struggling middle 6 wing.

He would be flipped to a contender. They are just retaining 50 percent of his contact.
