    Letang won't take that.
Romanov is playing top pairing minutes and looking real good, he isn't taking 1M for 2 years, he's getting minimum 2.5M.

He just turned 34 and he has 63pts in 73GP, no signs of slowing down hes 4pts away from his career high! Someone will absolutely give him over 6.5-7M.

It's actually 6M if you look at his contract. 3M next year, then 1M per year for the next 3.

He turns 35 on Sunday 4/24/2022 and since the cut off date is June 30th his next contract will be a 35+ contract.

Oops I saw fast and read April 4th lol but regardless he's still putting up tons of pts and not slowing down, he isn't taking under 6M anywhere.

Sorry bud, what you wrote makes no sense. Just because a player WANTS 7m X 5 doesn't mean he is going get it...from any team Don't you think if had been offered 7m X 5, he would have signed already why by the Pens?

Some GM out there will gladly give him $7,000,000 x 5 years coming off a 63 point season.

I agree with you he might get that offer. But if that is the going rate, I would appear the Pens haven't offered it.
