I don't know why Reilly is so sought-after by ACGMs. Dude doesn't even look good playing with McAvoy. If a team is actually willing to give up a 2nd for him, the Bruins make that deal in a heartbeat.

He has solid metrics but when you look at them relative to the Bruins other d-men, he's about average. One area he ranks below average for Boston though is GF% Rel where he's below average. He does get favorable zone starts and playing with McAvoy (and ultimately Marchand & Bergeron) will inflate a guys metrics though imo. Among Bruins d-men with at least 40 games this year, he has the 2nd highest ozS% at 5v5, so for his metrics to be average is disappointing. For me he's a quality 3rd pairing PMD that you could use on PP2, but certainly not worth $3 million for two more years. I'd rather have the $3 million in cap space vs Reilly lol.

Yeah he's a good player...but most of the issues on defense he has give the other teams A+++++ chances. He's very Jake Gardiner like.
