CBJ pass. We'd trade Gus to clear up roster spots, not fill one. Rather just have a pick or prospect.

Ottawa passes cause we have Greig coming up and he is basically a carbon copy of Garland so why should we acquire a player that is more expensive, will cost assets, and is older, when we have the same player in the system .

See I disagree, I think Garland's fair contract is a great asset for not giving up that much. Lassi and JBD are basically interchangeable in their development clearing out our pipeline and Garland provides more scoring than Brownie. I don't think Grieg is a lock for the roster next year could use some time in Belly

Look at the Rangers cap space for the next several years, J. T. Miller is a luxury the Rangers can't afford.

Rangers weren't paying that price at the deadline, why would they pay it now for a 1 yr rental. It never made sense, but it made more sense when they got him for 2 playoff runs.

I mean 1 yr of JT Miller at 3.25 is exceptionally easy for the Rangers to fit in without even cheating LTIR like you all do every year.

Well yeah one year, But you're not going to pay that for one year of Miller. And like i said the Rangers could put their cap to better use than paying Miller $8,500,000 for 7 years.

Pretty sure Buffalo wouldn’t do that. There’s a reason they continue to bring him back despite injuries and not living up to his draft status. He is one of the leaders on this team, I expect they will bring him back pretty much for the same money after this current contract unless they clearly have prospects to replace him with.

Sabres won’t have interest in Poolman for free,
let alone for a guy who wears an “A”
