Since the Flyers aren't gonna challenge anytime soon, it makes no sense to trade for Scheifele. If they were in another place sure. But right now they should embrace a rebuild.

They traded a top 15 pick plus a second and a roster player for Risto who only had one year left, so you never know what stupid trade they will make.

Hopefully the Sharks draft him. Also just looked at all of the Wiesblatt brothers names: Ozzy, Oasiz, Ocean, and Orca. that is unreal.

You're right. The most important piece on a team is a GM, especially in a cap strapped league. I'm constantly amazed how GMs waste cap and prospects/picks.

As a Leaf fan, I know how years of cap mismanagement, and horrid trades, draft selections can really cripple teams for decades. Specifically the GMs of Quinn, Ferguson, Burke, Nonis, and at times Lou, and Dubas.

Look like he is projected in the third round by most places, so anything is possible.

I hope so too! The brothers must stay together, and in the WHL, he is playing pretty well. They definitely have cool names..

That’s pretty good. Third round selection. I hope they can grab him! That would be awesome, just like Chicago getting Colton Dach in the second round last year.

I doubt the Oilers will trade Carter Savoie. They just signed him to play on the farm team and will probably sign him to an ELC once the AHL playoffs are over.

Obviously, they wouldn't trade him, but this is just for fun. I doubt the Jets get Matthew Savoie, but getting Cruz Lucius in the 2nd or 3rd round, and drafting Geekie and trading Ves for Morgan Geekie are definitely possibilities.

I could see Ves and a 4th or 5th for Geekie. Ves probably has the higher potential out of the 2, he just needs a change.
