Where would you put Point when he comes back? I would honestly keep Palat-Stamkos-Kuch line together...

This would pretty much be what I'd roll with. Colorado is too good to risk breaking up our most dependable line.

4*6 is 24million.
So we sign him for 3*8.

That would be such a crazy deal, but honestly I could kind of see it. It's not like he'd be making much (if anything) after a 6 year deal

To whom it may concern, Evolving Hockey's projected contract for Palat is $5.6M x 3 years.

That's too high for us most likely, so hopefully it's not that much

I bet he signs something around $4.0-4.5M x 5 years, if he stays.

The Cirelli line might never score.
Other than that though they are damn good.

I'm kinda wondering how Cirelli, Hagel, and Killorn can't even get one goal. Like with the amount of good opportunities they've had in the last few games they should have been able to score on accident by now.

If they were hemorrhaging goals I'd be worries but they're lights out defensively so I'll take it.

In my honest opinion...the Lightning are going to sweep the Avs. Hear me out.

Colorado has faced David Rittich/Connor Ingram in Round 1, Ville Husso in Round 2, and Mike Smith in Round 3-and Jordan Binnington, the one goalie who actually was playing well, won 1 of the 2 games he started against the Avs in the aforementioned Round 2, losing the other despite making 50+ saves. I really do believe they'll be befuddled by Vasi, who will put himself back in the Conn Smythe conversation with another terrific series. On the other side, the likely Game 1 starter in Kuemper has had a very mediocre postseason in 10 starts so far (2.65 GAA and .897 SV%), and Francouz hasn't been much better (2.86 GAA, .906 SV%), though he has won every game he's appeared in thus far (6-0). I don't expect the Avs tandem to be awful per se, but the Lightning should give Vasi a comfortable cushion to work with for much of the series.

I did not have the Lightning winning a single series in less than 6 games thus far, but here that changes. The Tampa Bay Lightning sweep the Colorado Avalanche and complete the three-peat, winning the Stanley Cup for the third consecutive year. (Conn Smythe: Kuch.)

I love the Bolts and have faith in them, but a sweep? vs the Avs? I don't see it, but to be fair I didn't see it against Florida either

I know it's not the wire-to-wire series people are hoping for and expecting, but I haven't been more confident prior to any series so far this year.

Pride goeth before the fall my friend.

I think it's gonna be the best series we've seen in years. Makar alone makes the Avs the strongest opponent Tampa has faced in years.

Yeah. I'm not saying Dallas and Montreal didn't deserve to be in the finals because they both made it fair and square, but on paper neither should have been in the finals or even close really. Colorado undoubtedly has a top 2 team in the league on paper (Florida) and they've shown it throughout the postseason

I know we should be focusing on the final, but I'm wondering about Cirelli, Sergachev, and Cernak extensions potentially coming this offseason and I have decide I would love nothing more than for Cernak to sign a 8 year deal for less than 4M
