Once I saw the report from Strickland and then Winnipeg saying they aren't bringing anyone back that is where my mind went first. It makes sense but after what happened I do not want him here.

I want Boudreau, think he's the best fit for this group but think Vancouver will sign him.

Is Jokinen coaching now? He had some great quotes when he was a Jet.. lol

I’m definitely not a fan of Q because of his part in the Chicago situation, but I also think that it’s unfair to not pitchfork Chevy and pitchfork Q. They both are as guilty as each other.

Q would be an incredible coach to bring in, but it comes with a ton of backlash due to the circumstances.

I think Patrick, Vincent, Julien, Tocchet, Jalonen are the most likely candidates. Lowry is just getting a formal interview as he’s earned it, but no chance he’s coming back.

If it was up to me I’d be hiring Pascal Vincent as head coach and James Patrick as an assistant. Let Vincent decide the rest. Tocchet is another option I’d love to see happen.

I'd be fine with them hiring Q but the Winnipeg media would lose their minds, I can't see them going that route.

They've got a lot of work to do to get fans filling that arena again, they can't afford anymore backlash.

Jets need an outsider, can’t be anyone whos worked for the organization. Not afraid to hurt egos on the team to push for success and value what the team as in rookies. Also need a stronger defensive structure.

I’d like Boudreau. Also I somewhat agree on needing to hire an outside voice. But I really like Pascal Vincent, and leaving the organization gives him a chance to see how a team should be running and make changes in Winnipeg as he’s someone they can trust.

James Patrick from the ice is a curious candidate. If the ice go on a run I could see them considering him for a job.

I’m not sold on the Pasacal Vincient idea or James Patrick. I see it more of a big gamble instead of a precise move.

I completely agree with you. Vincent really has not proven anything, and all he knows was the system we ran when Maurice was here. I like Patrick, but Patrick was gifted a really talented team.

How about guys like Lane Lambert, who has worked with Trotz since Nashville or a guy like Manny Malhotra? He may be able to really whip the PK into shape. Would a guy like Doug Gilmour ever consider caoching. He was someone I would think the players would have a lot of respect for.
