This is probably really close value wise just not sure if Arizona would trade Keller. Greig and our top 10 pick is probably good value plus Branny

Keller has Crosby level value to the franchise. He is the marketable player here, we all love him, there’s more or less nothing that could be offered outside of a franchise gutting itself that would be considered, even if on face value this offer does work, and I do think it’s it’s a solid offer

No way I am doing that

- 7th OA pick in the upcoming draft

- Ridly Greig who is a top NHL prospect, not just a top Sens prospect. I wouldn't trade him but even if I did, I wouldn't trade him for anything less than a top-15 pick

- TWO 2nd round picks

- Erik Brannstrom still worth more than people think. Continuing progression, was only 22 y/o this season and had several games where he was pretty damn good.

- Philippe Daoust is a sleeper darkhorse prospect, since he doesn't add much value/if any here, you don't trade that kind of prospect like that

- Don't trade Zaitsev like that. You end up giving more value as a result. Ottawa will have well enough cap space to deal with Zaitsev's last 2 seasons. Worst case scenario : bury him in the AHL or even buy him out. What would I do with him? AHL when everyone is healthy and have him as the 7th guy or play him 3rd pairing when there's injuries on defense.

2 HIGH first round picks, 2 second round picks, Brannstrom and Daoust? No.

Counter :

- 2022 1st round pick (OTT) (7th OA)
- 2022 2nd round pick (TBL)
- Brännström, Erik
- Gustavsson, Filip
- Choice between Roby Jarventie, Egor Sokolov, Lassi Thomson or Jacob Bernard-Docker

I basically changed Greig for a lesser prospect (but still very good) and a 2nd for Gustavsson. Removed Zaitsev and Daoust so value overall is pretty close to the proposal

You’re trying to do too much in one trade, it’s convoluted.

NHL GM’s, with a max of 50 contracts, aren’t taking 4 contracts for 1, and they don’t usually give 3 picks for none.

There’s no rush to trade Zaitsev, except to appease the haters. If Dorion gets into a position where he needs to trade Zaitsev, he’ll do it at the TDL, when playoff teams are looking for D.

I expect Del Zotto to get bought out, not White.
