Detroit declines, steel hasn't had any growth really and isnt a better option than veleno or Rasmussen.

Stars decline this. Peterson is looking pretty solid prospect for us.

Gibson is worth more than a second-half first-round pick and one year of a bottom-pairing defenseman.

I adjusted this and added a prospect who has looked good in Wsh system. Jensen has provided fantastic defensive value in Washington.

I realized Detroit really is not the team would take him on.

I don’t think the Stars like Peterson as much as they should. He didn’t even get to play in some of the playoff games despite being quite a bit better than a few of the other DAL fwds in the lineup this season. I thought a 3rd and 5th would be considered by Jim Nill plus non cap related financial savings.

I changed to a 1st and a 2nd with Comtois and Guhle still. Flames have some other resign priorities and given his lack of ice time relative to the value provides. I do not think the team loves him as much as they should.

I disagree quite a lot with this opinion, he is very much appreciated and just because Calgary rolls 4 lines doesnt mean his ice time sucks. Gaudreau only averaged 15:30 minutes of 5v5 ice time

Bowness prefers the vets. Peterson has a role, but it'll take some time when he fully takes it.
