Description

Arizona trade might be unrealistic. I think Ottawa might have to give up more, but I also thought White could find a spot in Arizona's top 6 and they would be trading Ladd's contract for Zaitsev.

I would like to see Ottawa get Fiala, but I think if Wild don't resign him, he will go to NJ. I think two interesting trade targets could be Laf and Kakko since they play on NYR 3rd line. Sens might have to give up a bit more for Laf, but I think this would be a good start.

Sens are better to give their lotto pick that that trade LAF. Ladd likely doesn't waive especially if it means being buried.

It's not that bad, they are giving up a lotto pick in a really talented draft for a 1OA who has not lived up to expectations. I'm not saying I would make the deal, just saying it's not crazy.

Going to pass simply cause I’m intrigued to see how Laf continues to develop. Plus Gallant seems to trust the kids line (Laf-Chytil-Kakko) and they’ve been playing pretty well.

Or, instead of trying to trade for Laf or Kakko, why not go the offer sheet route. Kakko this year and Laf the next. If Kakko gets offersheeted, for about 4mil, that is probably the most the Rangers can take to keep him and the rest of their team, until Laf gets one. Rags would have to really consider who they would want more between the 2 assuming they both get offer sheets. Rangers don’t have cap space, whereas Ottawa has all the space in the world.
