The Canucks got Oliver Ekman-Larsson (who brought a substantial economic burden) and Garland in exchange for a first, a second and three cap dumps, so assuming that OEL was the price for the majority of that, I don't see how Garland gets you more than Grans and the future first.

If you want positive value on Myers retain at least 1.5 million. I get it he was better this year, but he’s still nowhere near a six million dollar player

A. Dadonov won't waive his NTC to go to Detroit
B. You need to add a significant sweetener for Detroit to even consider taking his contract off your books, as he is a pure cap dump from Detroit's perspective.
