In the last 10 years, only 1 player drafted first overall didn't make the jump right away in the NHL, Owen Power.

I think Wright will play in the NHL next year, and will compete with Dvorak for 2/3 C.

Yea, I feel like he'd dominate the OHL next year and it'd be a moot year for his progression. Learning from Suzuki/Dvorak/Evans/St-Louis will help his game more.

Yes, power played in NCAA against older players as well as he was a dman so I think it was great for him to go back. Wright will be in the nhl

I don't think the forwards will matter with that defense and goalies, If you're letting in 3-4 gaa. You're losing most nights. This way hopefully Hoffman, Drouin & Petry can regain some value and gets better returns than they would come the draft.

In this roster, I even have Harris in Laval. Signed Lyubushkin as a RD Russian speaking vet. To play with Romy and bring him along to his potential. They play a similar Emelin style with Romy having way more mobility and vision.

Joshua Roy will go back in the Q

Clague isn’t getting qualified

I dont see the point of going back to the OHL. He scored 39 goals as a 15 year old there. He can play with the big club. He has a solid frame with broad shoulders. He's a gym rat, ppl talk about his endless motor training. He isnt Jack Hughes, he will be able to take the physicality in the NHL with his size and grit

And ppl's heads here will explode once its for a 1st rounder plus plus. Cant wait. Just like everyone was wrong about Lehkonen and Chiarot getting 1st round talent in return. Exact same atmosphere here with Petry

I agree. People are nuts. He was on the outside of Norris consideration for years. Solid defender. Great skater. Great vision. People saying Habs will have to retain and take on a bad contract are oblivious. It amazes me,

Poehling isn’t getting sent in Laval wtf he has 9 goals playing with ****ing Pezzetta & Tyler Pitlick. Gallagher should be sent down in Laval then

Norlinder won’t be in MTL line up next year IMO he needs time in Laval. Guhle & Harris are more NHL ready than Norlinder
