That's an interesting offer for NYI. Tell me about Jake Bean.

young, high offensive potential D man who can play both sides. He dissapointed this year but all of our D did (besides Peeke and blankenburg honestly) and while the potential is there, he needs to bulk up and play with a good defensive D partner.

i think Pelech - Dobson and Bean - Pulock would work as a top 4

    It'd probably be more:

    Pelech-Pulock
    XXX-Dobson
    Bean-Mayfield

We could trade Salo+ or Beau for a top-4 LHD and be all set. I'm for it. Don't love that Bean is already making some $ but I'd still take him on if the price is only Bellows.

He dissapointed, but my issue is more we need fewer offensive puck-moving D, and more traditional D. I'm higher on Boqvist's potential, and he and Bean were not good partners. Plus, CBJ kept putting Bean on RD, when that wasn't a good spot for him - he's a natural LD, so keep him at LD.

I'm all for moving him, but trading him just for Bellows feels like a waste, particularly since CBJ don't need more B6 Fs.

I'm intrigued by Klingberg. Problem is, I worry any contract he signs over maybe four years is going to age poorly.

I also feel Nyquist, with retention could get a better return. Mr. Consistent is a great M6 option for any team.

That's where I'm at with Bean. I don't hate him but Werenski and Boqvist were better than him last year and we have blankenburg, Christiansen and cuelemans and I feel like all those guys play a similar style

Blankenburg has a bit of pest energy to him, so I have hope where he could go. No idea how to build out Ceulemans.

The premise of trading Bean is not an unreasonable one. Bellows, however, is not a worthwhile target for this team. I'd say we're already overfull on wingers but that was the case before Marchenko and Pyythia were signed; we're now something beyond that.

Ideally I'd like a top 4 defensive dman, like Murphy, hronek 1or demelo, but we'd have to add alot probably
