Switch the Vegas 1st for Buffalo's and you might have a deal.

Don't get the CHI trade. Dach isn't worth Mitts + 16.

yeah neither dach nor mittelstadt are good. Idk why the Sabres would want the swap, much less add a pick.

CHI shouldn't be in any rush to give up on Dach. He's only 21, has shown a lot of flashes of becoming a valuable top 6 forward, and he probably would be already if Bowman didn't rush his development. So, because CHI doesn't have reason to give up on their 3rd overall pick from 2019, it would take quite an overpay to get him.

That's fine, but it still would be a terrible deal for Buffalo.

This applies to Mitts too. Just replace Bowman with Botterill.

It’s not even a sure thing that Dach is better than Mittelstadt

And Dach definitely hasn’t done anything to make me think we’d have to add a mid1st
That’s just bananas

Ppg this season
Mitts- .475
Dach- .371

Ppg career
Mitts- .410
Dach- .388

Granted, Dach could still take a step forward
But even though Mitts has been plagued with injuries, he’s still young enough that he could too

But Mittlestadt is 2 years and 10 months older; every day of the weak Dach is worth a fair amount more then Mittlestadt who's borderline bust material at this point and I've never been a fan of Dach. Beyond being younger and not that far behind ppg in such a young career, he's also better defensively then Mittlestadt and that's not saying a lot. Hands down, Dach will be a better two way forward, whether he scores more the jury is out but not in a million years would I consider Mittlestadt for Dach even if the +16 OA is included due to being such a shallow first round this year.

Like I said to the other guy, it's WAAAAY too soon to give up on Dach. That offer is just not enough to change that.
