Gibson is too expensive in both dollars and this trade value to be given the benefit of the doubt.
This is like saying hitting on a 20 is giving the 10 and the king the benefit of the doubt, you're probably gonna bust

If you were the TOR GM no one would take your calls. Why in the world would COL want an injured bad dman? I mean anybody can make bad trades that benefit their favorite team and say this is what I would do, the problem is nobody else would.

Agreed, they need to be able to get good value at 3-4m for goaltending. Bringing in Gibson might be something they can do once the dust settles in 2-3 years.

Top 6 looks very weak and Marchment is getting paid too much to be playing on line 4. Also, you might as well have traded Sandin and Liljegren (looks like you elected to not qualify/sign them or maybe you just chose to ignore) since you want to spend all the money you freed up on the back-end
