No from LA, even if Toronto retains salary on Muzzin to make it cap neutral.

One little problem….everyone easily declines. Minnesota might take that if they can create some cap space.

Stars easily declines, I’d rather Hintz over Nylander cuz one is more rough, better defensively and a centre. Nylander inches him out on offence, but he plays for an actual NHL coach unlike Hintz.

Another Wishful thinking Muzzin to Kings trade. It's not 2012 anymore. Chychrun trade is fantasy land fiction. Stars aren't trading Hintz and Minny doesn't need Kerfoot.

LA is only place Muzzin would waive I think. Chychrun has been getting shopped, a 1st, solid young D to replace and a prospect really isn't that far off what I would expect his return to be

Arizona can't be that far off. I could see Knies making the difference over Robertson.

Stars is a pipe dream. More so trying to get them when they feel like they need to sacrifice some team D for offense.

Chychrun price will be much higher. I'd expect the Kings to get him instead of chasing Muzzin. Kings have the quality assets to acquire him. Leafs don't. Leaf fans rate Robertson much higher than other teams do. The only good Robertson plays in Dallas. Sandin couldn't even beat out Holl for a playoff roster spot.

I mean if leafs wanted to trade Niemela, Knies, Sandin, 1st rounder they could probably get it done pretty easily. Can't really get rid of Muzzin until next year is the problem

If you added Niemela and Knies with Sandin then yes it's fair value. But look what the Kings can offer. Do you really want the Leafs to mortgage their future for Chychrun? I wouldn't. He's good but not THAT good.

Selling low on Robertson for sure. Doubt many other organizations value him as highly as the leafs management does. The Sandin slander is dumb. He was hurt so they didn't want to drop him into the middle of playing the back to back cup champs. Not to mention he plays the left side vs. holl the right side and Holl was in to kill penalties.

Sacrifice team d for offense??? Hintz and Peterson are offensive players that makes zero sense. Nylander only scored a few more points than Hintz and Nylander has the benefit of a proper offensive system. Nylander is a winger. Hintz is a center. Centers are more valuable. Yes Nylander has played center but call me when he shows he can do it consistently in the NHL. Hintz and Peterson are controlled assets. Nylander is a pending free agent in a couple years. Nothing about that trade works for Dallas

Zona will get a better offer than that for Chych. Better first round pick. Better prospects

Sandin slander? The guy didn't play in the playoffs. You're moving the goal posts now. Drinking the Blue and white Kool aid.

Niemela, Sandin, 1st rounder? Yeah good with that because Rielly, Chychrun would be the top 4 LD for the next 3 years at least. Knies? Not so sure. They could desperately use a power forward LW and he's going to be ready after the college season.

The Leafs guy only looks at it from the Leafs perspective and not the other team's perspectives. Like all teams are supposed to knuckle under and serve the Leafs needs just because.... they're the Leafs. LOL

How many times do kings fans have to tell leafs fans that kings aren’t trading for Muzzin?

I mean why trade for Chychrun who's in his prime? It's much wiser to trade for 33 year old Jake Muzzin! Because... reasons.

Sandin would play in the top 4 next year of at least 10 teams in the league and is only 22. Has yet to play a full season and his underlying analytics are really good. I would value him very similarly to Hronek who you probably would think is worth a 1st.

Arizona trade is pretty good.
Minnesota and Anaheim seem right on the money value-wise.

Los Angeles isn't interested in this effort to shed significant cap.

Absolutely no interest in installing Jake Muzzin 2.0 even if he would waive his NTC, plus we could re-sign Alex Edler for less than Jake's cap hit, and we would probably get the same results without having to expend assets to re-acquire Muzz. Will you Toronto guys please stop doing this? It's like the Montreal guys with their silly Jeff-Petry-to-Detroit trades. And the idea that we would trade Matt Roy for him is simply cuckoo.
