I watched most of the Sabres games, I don't see a need for paying huge assets to improve a little bit on the wings. The holes on this team are in goal, mrazek is only an answer if the sweetener he's coming with is pretty nice (a third wouldn't do it) AND we already have a Vet goalie in place to play 40-50 games. There is also a hole on right d- specifically for a defensive d prefer with size that plays heavy. There is also a need at center, for a #1 center, the kind that you likely have to draft yourself at pick 9 or better. Maybe throw in a defensive center to help out with d zone starts and faceoffs. Any other changes would be changes in philosophy, like grabbing a power forward or a left d that's also heavy. I think it's important to know what you have, and what you need. We don't need to throw huge money and assets at the wings, just to block kids that are more than ready to take the next step. And we don't need to take a garbage goalie like mrazek for peanuts, just to help the Leafs out with their cap crunch.
