The hockey writers tends to be a bit biased, so youd probably need too add a bit for the leafs.

If any of these players are involved in a JT Miller deal they're throw-ins not the centerpiece. Think Nylander or Liljegren as targets.

The author listed 3 names, the. Posed the question that it might be too much for leafs fans to stomach.

If there would have been bigger pieces added, the author should have listed them. It’s either delusional writing or it’s lazy writing. Either way the article is a waste of time lol. I just thought it would be funny to post here

He said those were three names to keep an eye on. I think it was lazy reading on your part. Never even came close to proposing that as a trade.

Read this sentence and explain to me how it doesn’t sound like him suggesting a package involving one or more of these three players:

“British Columbia-native Alexander Kerfoot, prospects Nick Robertson and Joseph Woll are three players to keep an eye on here if trade talks pick up for Miller. Too much, Leafs Nation? Or, don’t care because you haven’t seen the second round in nearly two decades?“

Why would he include the bolded part if these weren’t the main pieces being suggested for a trade?

Yes and then he suggests those pieces might be too much. If he thinks those pieces are too much, then he’s not suggesting anything better would be added
