Not a Sabers fan, but I'd say but I'd say more then Robertson, Less then Sandin value IMO.

They could just offer Sandin $4 mil a year and get him for a second.

That's cool, just answering your ?. Just think that cap space would be big for you guys, so it has to play apart in the trade. Where not talking 3m here.

Lol who gives af about cap space when you could get a huge return for him elsewhere. This reads like the fans who wanted Marner exposed at the expansion draft last year because "cap space"

His contract isnt bad value, so they dont have to take a cut in value to get that cap space.

When did I say it's bad value, but there still getting almost 7m in cap space with that move, it's worth something. Especially with there cap crunch.

I am not a fan of the Laff's, your team is in a cap crunch, as a Sabres GM I am going to use that against you, and 7m in cap space is a nice chunk of change.

My best offer would be TOR’s 1st in 2022 and 2023, WPG’s 3rd for VGK’s 2022 1st and 2023 2nd and CGY’s 2022 6th

That cap space isnt valuable to them if it costs them a first line forward to get it. If Nylander wasnt worth the 7 mil, then yeah, but he is.

We need to move out about 6 more players before we even try moving out Nylander. And you're a Sabres fan don't act like that's any better bro.

What are you talking about better. This post came from a Leafs fan. You want 16, I want Nylander. Sabres don't have to make the trade, just like the Leafs don't. But 7m would go along way to helping your team make the adjustments needed

Why, they have the offense. Sign a goalie and some better D would go along way to helping them with there troubles.

Actually the opposite would have been better. Team is too top heavy offensively. Two years in a row they've ignored that. They paid more for foligno than Hall, then added some 4th liners this year. If you're built around your offense, own it and commit to it. Thats what Tampa did adding Hagel. And they were only 1 goal away, so its not like the core isnt working, fared far better than FLA.

Nylander alone could fetch a top 5 pick. There's talks 9f him for the 2nd overall. But I still feel the Leafs wouldn't do that. It's a step in the wrong direction for them.

And Tampa can afford to do that because there defense and goaltending is hell of alot better than Toronto's.

Thats true, although their D has Bogosian on it so might be closer than you think. Definitely the goaltending, but he wasn't particularly great overall during that series. Idk, their entire identity is their offense, they may as well double down on it, since all the weird grit/defensive moves have just been wasted draft capital.

Where, who is talking that. If they can then go and get it. There's only so many teams that can take on 7m without sending money back to Toronto and Toronto really can't afford to take back a contract.
