I hope Hextall will be bold enough to do something like this

What's the point of signing Smith when Ruhwedel (who costs less and is better) is already under contract?

We know he won't, but maybe new ownership forces him to.

In the notes...Smith is a bit of toughness the Pens seriously lack, and also multi positional insurance if either POJ or DOC don't cut it.

Signing a scrub like Smith just for a sake of toughness isn't a good idea.

Marchment is a dream signing in my eyes. Definitely go and get Malkin, Letang, and Rakell done first. But make Marchment your main FA you try to add. Move Zucker and let him replace him for cheaper. I love the idea of him coming to Pittsburgh

Why not just trade Guentzel and a 2nd for a 5th too. We need all the cap space we can get to sign scrubs that are tough.

But he’s not replacing either in your acgm. He’s replacing Ruhwedel.

Yes because Nichushkin and Marchment are tough scrubs.

I never said they were. Brendan smith is though. And do you really think Marchment is going to sign for that cheap after almost a ppg season?

Dumoulin, 2nd for 5th

What hot trash is this? Please add "Waste of time to look at" to the title of all of your future AGMs.

If I were the Sabre GM and knew Hextall had made these offers, I would counter with Buffalo's 2022 second and one or two prospects for Penguins first, Zucker and Doumalin.
