Adam Lowry is part of our core and one of our only forwards with any grit. There is no interest in trading him at all so it would require a pretty hefty overpay for us to consider it.

Thats fair, I just seen so many jets fans upset with him I was curious.

I don’t know what they’re mad at him for, he plays a good leadership role on the team and he’s a great defensive forward and penalty killer. I’d understand why they would be mad at the interim coach, his dad Dave Lowry. But I don’t get why they would be mad at Adam.

Ahh misdirected anger. Coaches son and what not.. makes sense. I still like him for the Sabres, I’ll have to come up with a better offer haha

Why are you giving up that second for Jake Allen and a LTIR guy.

Poor asset management.

As a Bs fan I would rather see them move Reilly as he’s on the more crowded left side and would bring more cap relief. Sabres would be getting a solid bottom pair guy who can play both sides and doesn’t make a lot of noise when he gets scratched. Is too aggressive at times and has limitations but a 4th rounder is a fair price

Buffalo already has more left-handed defenders than they can use. I think the point in going after Clifton is that he plays the right side and is a right hand shot.

Sorry, my post was a little confusing. I was describing Clifton but realize that it looks like I was describing Reilly. Would rather trade Reilly but the 4th for Clifton is what I was referring to. My bad

Bruins seem to like Clifton…far more than a 4th round pick.

Read the details. Allen gets extended (his analytics are good) and Weber gets to the floor and his contract is insured. Also get a 4th back
