  1. Bear, Ethan [RFA Rights]
Additional Details:
Assuming Bear will be the odd man out in favor of Morrow and Pesce.
CAR
  1. 2022 3rd round pick (VAN)
2.
VAN
  1. 2022 3rd round pick (DET)
DET
  1. Dermott, Travis
Additional Details:
Any team for a 3rd. But I know Detroit is high on Marcus Petersson from Pittsburgh.
3.
VAN
  1. 2023 7th round pick (VAN)
4.
VAN
  1. Lucic, Milan
Additional Details:
Figured the Flames needed an improvement on their backend due to their defence being porous against Edmonton allowing for so many goals. Sure, you would take on a bad contract here for 2 years and also have to sign Gaudreau/Tkachuk etc, but wanted to see your thoughts even if the Canucks retain salary on Myers.
CGY
  1. Myers, Tyler ($1,250,000 retained)
5.
VAN
  1. 2022 3rd round pick (DAL)
6.
VAN
  1. Fabbro, Dante
  2. L'Heureux, Zachary
  3. 2022 1st round pick (NSH)
Additional Details:
Curious Nashville fans about this trade if you don't want to give up Tomasino and if Forsberg leaves in UFA. Also, either a 2022 1st or a 2023 2nd that becomes into a conditional 1st.
NSH
  1. Miller, J.T. ($2,625,000 retained)

My god where do I begin.....

PA just traded for Dermot, why is trading him again = wont happen
Flames value Lucic to much and they also dont need defense, Markstrom was porous = Wont happen

Who is Fabbro - Just because he is a west coast kid doesnt mean he is good there is 50 0ther defensemen better = Wont happen

Bear is not worth a 3rd.

No one is trading for Poolman

No interest from Calgary. Myers just makes way too much for way too long to be a 3rd pair defenseman. Myers would have had almost zero effect in that Edmonton series. Sure he would probably be better than Stone but he's a wash with Gudbranson for the 3rd pair. Tanev being hurt is what hurt Calgary

Logic is wrong, price is fine. Morrow is still years away from being NHL ready. It's likely Chatfield will take his place (or a UFA). But regardless, this is about right. Team-controlled RD don't grow on trees.

Wings have interest or Pen fans have interest in shipping Petersson to Wings. Dermott is not getting a 3rd., where as maybe Petersson does.

Detroit has ZERO interest in the 2nd coming of Brett Lebda. We didn't want him from Toronto, we don't want him from Vancouver. Hard pass.

I will say that NSH would be interested in Miller for our second line. However, NSH isn't going to give a 1st and Fabs. He's grown this year into a solid linemate for Josi and might be able to lead the 3rd pair on his own depending on how things shake up this summer. One or the other is probably what you would get and Tolvanen or Kunin to sweeten the deal with L'Heureux. (I don't know enough about L'Heureux to determine if NSH should keep him)

Dallas wants cap space to bring back their RFAs so they wouldn't go out of their way to acquire a 3rd liner making 3 million

Nobody is giving you a 3rd for Dermott.

I honestly wouldn't trade you a 6th for him. I'd rather gamble at the draft and try to snag another Soderblom. Dermott is useless...

As good as Miller is, that's too much for a rental. Can't see NSH trading Fabbro in any deal, as they have very little RD depth right now.

Yeah we didn't want Travis Dermott when he was in Toronto, And we sure as hell don't want him from Vancouver either.

Never thought about Tolvanen before since I didn't realize he was a 1st round pick. I was thinking about L'Heureux which I put in earlier or Fyodor Svechkov another 1st round pick as well if the Canucks wanted any of those two.
Verdaka liked this.
