Lowkey Sens offseason options trade returns I used are unimportant

Description
This is mostly just me putting out a couple options that I think the Sens should explore in the offseason that aren't as splashy as the big Kevin Fiala deals or Giroux signings that are commonly hoped for. Don't think too much of the returns, they're mostly just rough placeholders to say "they should be in on this guy".

Trades
1.
OTT
  1. Bear, Ethan [RFA Rights]
Additional Details:
Bear is a young RHD with clear talent and potential who's well worth taking a chance on, but has clearly lost favour with Rod in Carolina and it seems likely that he's on the way out. He makes too much sense for Ottawa not to target him
CAR
  1. Hamonic, Travis ($1,500,000 retained)
  2. 2022 3rd round pick (OTT)
Additional Details:
With Smith and Cole both UFAs, Hamonic at only 1.5 might make some sense as a really cheap option on the 3rd pairing. More of a throw-in though. The return isn't really the point here, although I'd be curious to hear Canes' fans thoughts on Bear's trade value.
2.
OTT
  1. Puljujärvi, Jesse [RFA Rights]
Additional Details:
Puljujarvi, despite taking a step forward this year, seems to have been demoted to the 3rd line in favour of Yamamoto and has some nights where he doesn't even clear 10 minutes of ice time. as a pending RFA, there's a chance that the Oilers explore other options at 3RW. Puljujarvi as a big-bodied puck retriever for Stutzle who can add scoring could be a really good, cheaper-than-Fiala, fit.
EDM
  1. Reinhardt, Cole
  2. 2022 2nd round pick (OTT)
Additional Details:
Honestly I can't figure out what Puljujarvi's trade value is, I'd like to hear Oilers fans thoughts about it. I know that in the midst of their current playoff run, fans probably aren't thinking about making these sorts of changes, but I think that the Sens should be making calls on him in the offseason, and I figured 39th overall pick and a half-decent prospect might be somewhere along the right lines, although I could be way off.

He had breathing issues after covid that hampered his play and then needed surgery on his foot. Before Covid bear was good for us. We may end up keeping him.

Alot of rumors he isnt consistent with his off season training & showed up to camp out of shape a couple of seasons with the Oilers.

I have no real interest in Puljujärvi but if EDM would accept that trade offer I miiiight gamble if we can't land a better UFA (which is hard to believe).
That said, I wouldn't pay Puljujärvi any more than Formenton or Joseph (who I already feel you're overpaying just a touch).
Formenton is showing a growth to his game that Puljujärvi has not.

Re-signing Puljujarvi should be the Oilers #1 priority in the offseason. Here's why.

He's among the very best in the league in on-ice impact:

CF% Rel: 4th among all forwards
FF% Rel: 5th
SF% Rel: 4th
GF% Rel: 5th
xGF% Rel: 3rd

You don't trade a 23-year-old who has a top-5 impact in the entire league, especially when he's relatively affordable. There's no logical justification for it.
