Raanta has 1yr left, good contract, but if it's a 2nd it's Philadelphia's 2023 2nd or Buffalo's 2022 3rd

Phillys 2nd is going to be higher, maybe vegas's 2nd. But Raanta doesnt solve Buffalos Goalie dilemma, helps but isnt the solution

Just letting DeAngelo walk? Seemed like he played pretty well for the Canes.

Not a bad offer for Miller. Obviously the premium asset Canucks would want is Morrow but I get Carolina fans are hesitant to move him. I do wonder if the Canucks would prefer Keane over Bear though.

The thought of letting TDA walk, and taking that money +3M more and using it for Letaint makes me shiver.

Trading Necas, Bear, and two picks for 1 year of JT Miller is terrible asset management regardless of any value judgement on the trade. In almost every scenario- Miller and Canes won’t agree to a contract. Carolina isn’t the place 30 year olds come to cash in on their last long term contract.

Or even better. Keep the picks and sign a UFA
