I don't think you are understanding how lopsided your trade is. Add McMichael and remove Hellebuyck. Then you probably have a fair offer for Scheifele

If Winnipeg is trading helly, it’s full on rebuild mode, so there going to get a better offer than that, two players have minimal value in the rebuild. Need would be team control and higher picks, not a vanecek band aid and a trade deadline sell. Adding scheifele and helly make that 1st probably out of lottery, so really a non starter offer.

laugh That garbage doesn't get either Hellebuyck or Scheifele on their own let alone both, Pretty horrendous for Winnipeg. And i doubt the Caps have the pieces for both.

Good thing you added that 6th!!!

Vanecek, Eller, 1st, 2nd, 2nd, 6th might keep Winnipeg on the line for ONE of Hellebuyck or Scheifele.
