Deal. I'd even be willing to throw in another late round pick

Biggest issue I see is the contract. He just takes up too much of the cap and with the expected delayed start of McAvoy, Gryz and Marchand you can't afford him at that cost to play bottom 6. I'm not even sure the Kunin contract is manageable at this point.

Not likely and only if you never want a high end FA to sign in Boston for a loooonnnngggg time. He chose them over everyone else for a very reasonable cost and Marchand might miss half the season. Plus he has wanted to be a Bruin since he was a kid.

Sounds good to me. Change of scenery for both. I know he's worn out his welcome in NJ but what's Zacha's issue? Any hope of turning it around and playing center?

Zacha actually claims he’s better at C, which fans and the coaching staff kind of disagree with. He’s not a liability at C, but have always thought he was better on the wing.

Unfortunately, he’s probably dead money at this point. He’s not waiving his no-movement, and no one’s taking that contract. We’ll happily welcome home in Columbus when he’s ready to retire, but not at the full hit.
