Ignoring that the Flames would match in a heartbeat, what incentive would Tkachuk have to sign that offer sheet? It's not like the Canucks are better than the Flames, and then to be played on the second line as well. Talk about adding insult to injury.

The reasoning is that JBD is a major part of Ottawa's plans and is probably their future top four RD behind Zub.

Yes but the value is fair. It depends on Boeser contract demands and his injury history. He might just be too risky
