Stop sending kerfoot to the jackets. We have too many M6 forwards as it is. That’s not including voronkov, kent Johnson, marchenko, and draft picks from this year

Maybe if enough people keep saying stop sending bottom 6 forwards to Columbus people will actually look at the roster before they just throw senseless proposals up. I doubt it though.

He would have led the entire Blue Jackets roster in even strength points. Nowhere close to a bottom 6 forward on Columbus

Wow, a guy who played the vast majority of his season with Tavares and Nylander got a bunch of 5v5 points, so surprising. He's a bottom 6 guy who got to play up in the Toronto lineup because they can't afford anyone better.

If you paid attention to the Leafs this year you would know that playing 5v5 with JT isn’t exactly a blessing. Kerfoot outscored both JT and Nylander at 5v5. So no, he’s not a bottom 6 forward

Guess we circle back around to the Leafs should really just keep the guy if he's that good. The CBJ certainly don't have space for him regardless.

To Leafs fans,

Look this is for all Leafs fans, if your trade proposal is to send Holl and/or Kerfoot to CBJ then pick another team. CBJ do not need or want these players. It is a waste of time to think about it. Please find another team to shove these players to.

Sincerely,
Every CBJ fan

His numbers are still skewed. How many points did Tavares have this season? Yeah, he was nearly a ppg player. He also was that way in the playoffs. The only player on the Jackets that was nearly a ppg player was Laine. The Leafs also have two players in Matthews and Marner that are well above ppg status. You have to be in denial to not understand Kerfoot has definitely benefited from playing around those guys.

Of course he has, but he’s a good player and acting as if he’s worth little to nothing means I ain’t the one in denial. Also Tavares being a PP merchant has nothing to do with skewing Kerfoots numbers

The Jackets have Laine, Bjorkstrand, Nyquist, Voracek all with more points than Kerfoot. On a worse team. Take in to consideration that the Jackets also had players like Jenner and Texier that should they had played a full season would have either had more points or close to that of Kerfoot. Now take into consideration that guys like Sillinger and Roslovic, one was in his first NHL season at age 18 (31 points) and the other had 45 points and was playing at a very high level towards the end of the season, both have not even hit their ceilings yet. Kerfoot on this team would regress to the mean and become a 30 maybe 40 point player. Again the Jackets have no room for him with Marchenko, Johnson, and Chinakhov needing more ice time and having higher ceilings.

He’s so great every single ACGM from the leafs is getting rid of him.

You’re forgetting that all of those guys played PP with Columbus; Kerfoot didn’t get PP time for the Leafs and I honestly couldn’t tell you why, stupid coaching. Besides, Columbus isn’t buying so they shouldn’t be looking for a Kerfoot, but my comment is not saying Columbus should trade for him or that he’s an elite player, it’s that he’s more than a bottom 6er and he has quite a bit of value in todays league

Have you seen the cost of our bottom 6? Why would the CBJ want to pay 3.5 mil for a player to be in the bottom 6? My point is he has no value to the Jackets and neither does Holl for that matter. So Leaf’s fans need to stop with these trades they call realistic when it couldn’t be further from the truth.
