Description

This scenario is basically centered around Philadelphia deciding to move on from Hart and wanting a PMD and a gritty middle 6 in return.

Kadri decides getting that eighth year is enough to make him stay. Avs keep Lehkonen to replace what they'll lose in Nichuskin.

That trade is heavily skewed towards Colorado. That offer might not even get you Konecny alone, forget about the Flyers generational goalie.

That Kadri contract will come back to bite you.

8x8 is too much term and aav for a team that tight against the cap

I agree that this is a bad deal for Philly, but how has Carter Hart shown he is a generational goalie?

Also, to the OP how do you plan on resigning mackinnon and byram?

Sakic isn’t giving Kadri an 8yr deal and he sure as heck isn’t giving him an 8x8 deal that’s insanity. Nichushkin is getting signed they won’t just let him walk his contract comps are out there at $5M.

He was phenomenal in his first two seasons as an extremely young goalie. The last two years he's been on a garbage team. The flyers certainly believe he's their franchise goalie, and he's still only 23.
