Description
dubas would never do anything like this and I'm sure all you fans of the teams I traded with wouldn't accept these trades but this is what I would try to do. again without talking to teams to know what the asking prices are we don't know who would take what. again just my opinion

There is no trading NTC Muzzin. Rather have two years of Nylander than five years of Anderson

Anderson ****ing sucks. You’d have to pay me to take him, buddy is a physical 3rd liner who shows up once every 10 games as a top 6er. Not close to worth 5.5.
Simmonds costs nothing to dump. First, he has a NMC so he won’t be going anywheres, and second, if he does, he doesn’t cost anything to dump. He makes under 1 mil, that contract could be buried in the minors for 0 cost against the cap

Yes, Nylander is the better player
But habs have no use for him since he's a UFA in 2 years. So basically they're trading a core piece who they get calles on from many GMs and refuse only to get a player with less term and a harder contract to trade ? It's a gamble because Nylander might get a hogher return after all... so IDK...

Ignoring all the trades that are heavily in the leafs favor, that Nylander trade is terrible for Toronto!

Ignoring all the trades, the Nick Paul signing is horrible, getting a bunch of physical guys/people who have had playoff success and hoping they replicate that in Toronto isn't the solution,it's actually how they would end up with an albatross contract especially since Nick Paul would want more than 3.5m in Toronto especially if he wins the Cup.
