Poehling turns 24 in the middle of next season and has played in 85 games, averaging roughly 0.25 ppg. Puljujarvi is only 8 months older and averages about 0.4 ppg over 259 games. I don't think that a third-round pick comes close to making up the difference.

How about Puljujarvi and #29 for Poehling, #26 and #65? (I think Edmonton would still decline.)

What has Ryan Poehling done to get Jesse P? 22 points in 85 career games for Poehling. Detroit could offer Zadina for JP and it would be a lot more fairer trade.

No Thanks for Habs, After seeing his Disappearing act in the playoffs showed exactly what the kid was made of, he has done NOTHING with Edmonton, playing with a lot more skilled players than Poehling has played with. People saying Poehling has done nothing, well, he's never been given a chance with any good players to do anything, While JP has played with McGod, Draisaital, Nugent Hopkins, and still cant do anything....So nah I wouldnt want him on the team at all.
