Replacing the Dean and adding a lottery pick I think probably. Trouba had a better season but you’re adding pick 15 in the draft as well as a well known good defence man Ekman-Larsson

OEL has a full NTC clause and only wanted to go to Vancouver or Boston

The answer is probably yes but OEL wouldn't do that.

What do you think could be a deal similar to this with Boston? I doubt Oliver moves from Vancouver in all 6 years total in his deal includes 21-22

I think that Boston would not be interested in any deal with OEL cause they now have Lindholm as their pillar on the LHD side of their defense but if I did have to draw up a trade with Boston it would be:

TO VAN:
Brandon Carlo
Charlie Coyle


TO BOS:

OEL
2022 15th OA pick

Trouba has a NMC and he isn't going anywhere. He wanted to play for the Rangers because his wife is a budding doctor and there was some logistics behind this I wasn't sure of...

Canucks would rather just buyout Ekman-Larsson down the road and keep the pick rather than do this trade
