Can Drouin even play hockey anymore? Seems like hawks would get the asset for taking on the contract of a player w a big cap that doesn't earn it. Give us poeling and will call it a deal.

Hawks definitely decline. We aren't paying for 27 year-old forwards, and certainly not giving up draft picks since we're rebuilding.

Hawks moving a 2nd isn't going to happen for the same reason MTL shouldn't be passing up a 2nd unless it involves moving up in the draft.
