Description
The core is Hughes, Petey and Demko. Add significant draft stock and prospects. Aim for contending in a couple years. I'd suggest not only JT being expendable but Bo and Brock as well.

Don't think Boeser is worth 7th overall, let alone adding Greig. Woo and the early 3rd are probably a wash. So no thanks from OTT

Lol I read the Myers retention as 1 mil and not 3 mil, so I replied declined. Didn’t feel like doing anymore critical thinking on this one because it is a Monday so I moved on

He's worth a top 10 pick in a weaker draft. Lots of other factors to consider.

Saying Boeser isn't worth a top 10 pick is sheer lunacy

if you were confident that you were getting 2017 Boeser, then he's easily worth 7th overall. The Boeser we saw this season, with an incredibly hefty QO, 7th overall isn't like, totally out of the question, but it's not a given

We all know Boeser is a better player than he showed this past season, don't know why it's such a controversial take

I certainly think so, but that doesn't mean that it's not at least a bit of a gamble to move the 7th overall pick when his QO is like 7.5 or something. that's a ton of AAV if you're not even positive he'd clear 25 goals. again, I don't think that him for 7th is absurd by any means, but it's not a given, and definitely not worth adding Greig in there too

Oh yeah, I never agreed with adding Greig either, but other than that, I'd be confident in betting on Boeser

You're completely out to lunch. Why don't you do some damn research before you make such an ignorant take

Dude have you seen him play …. Cuz I have he’s not worth that type of capital and if you think he is then you’ve lost it

May not be for Detroit but certainly was better this past season after the wrist the year before. If Petey didn't crush his elbow late on the year he would have been closer to 30 goals. It's not hard to see a 25-30 goals scorer get a high first pick especially a younger wing where a team has a need.

I have seen him play, it's you who isn't watching him closely enough. Either that or you're being too dismissive in assessing his type of game
