I think this price is a little low but I also think if a team can offer the Islanders a quality young pro-ready prospect and 2 2nds or a 2nd and a 3rd they would part with him

Mayfield should bring more. I'd just keep him for that and play Bellows. You have so much cap space to spend too

You trade for Vanecek then don't sign him?

Mayfield should bring back more, or just keep him if that's the best you can do.

I like Nichushkin, but he isn't the answer to ride shotgun with Barzal. I hope Lou aims much higher than that.
