Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
The Dumba Trade could be 2 Seconds instead but The Wild may move Dumba for Cap space, he does make 6 million and analytically could be better so a 2nd, 3rd and 4th for him is close to value, but Like I said it could be 2 Seconds, I just did a 2nd, 3rd and 4th.

Ottawa already has 2 top centers in Norris and Stutzle. There's also like less than 0% chance Miller would extended there so thats a pretty bad trade for them

Wouldn’t you be paying Philly to take that contract

Philly doesn't need Ferland's contract to get to the cap floor

Insane price for Ottawa on a pending UFA who might not even sign here. Also Ottawa has two top Cs already. Tim Stützle and Josh Norris. Miller is sick, but his age and contract work against him from an Ottawa perspective.

I don’t watch the sens but Stutzle is listed as a LW. Did they move him to C?

He was switched early in the year and played on a whole new level. He's not going back anytime soon.

November 24th, didn't play a shift on the Wing after that.

Use this site to know what position players played during the current season

https://leftwinglock.com/players/index.php?p1=Tim%20Stuetzle&flag=y

Here's some facts I can just copy/paste :

Moved to center on November 24th : 51 pts in 63 games after that : 0.81 PPG

Turned 20 y/o on January 15th : 43 pts in 50 games after that : 0.86 PPG

After March 5th : 31 pts in 27 games (25th most in the WHOLE NHL) : 1.15 PPG

LTIR space

Essentially it’s just a pointless deal to move an injured player? It hurts Philly more than anything so definitely not something they’d pay for. Maybe do Ferland for JVR like Weber/ Daddy

Really I just don’t see the point in this but this is not a deal people give up assets for

No, but it's not the type of deal where team's pay assets to unload either

Usually, yes. You give a pick or something to unload it because you need the cap space or LTIR space. Like Weber took a cap dump and Bishop had a pick attached… so yeah, you don’t just move the contract for free and it’s never paid for

Weber didn't cost anything to dump, and Bishop only cost a 7th, that's next to nothing

Habs took a contract Vegas paid a 2nd to move

And that’s still a payment with bishop

I don't see the apples to apples comparison with the Weber trade, cause technically Dadonov's contract didn't cost a 2nd to move because that trade never officially went down
