Beauvillier is already better than anderson, that would be a terrible trade for the islanders

Put Lou in the nursing home if he makes that Habs trade. That’s horrific for us. They better be sending Romanov back for that

First of all I think that’s wrong cause Beauvillier is awful, second of all Lou is bad so he’ll just make the deal anyway

i never said beauvillier is great or anything, but Anderson is worse. he's older much much worse defensivly and has a single season with more than 32 points. I'd also think the islanders making this trade would be hilarious because it's just the sort of dumb galaxy brain thing Lou loves to do and at the same time it doesnt make montreal good

I’ve seen some rumblings on twitter that the Isles were inquiring about Anderson. Also said they were willing to part ways with 13th overall. I think the offer above is a bit much for him coming from a habs fan but people saying he’s not worth a 1st + really don’t know anything about hockey and team building… It will all depend on if there’s actually a bidding war for him because without an overpay, I doubt KH moves him.

I saw it as well, swap Beau with Bailey lol. Then Beau for Dunn? Idk if the cap works but I can live with that at least

That’s much more palatable. Probably would need seattle to retain a bit which wouldn’t be an issue I wouldn’t think

For sure. I just made one screwing around with these parameters. I “downgraded” from Gaudreau to Forsberg but it still barely fits

BRUTAL AND I MEAN BRUTAL trade with Montreal Beauvillers already better than Anderson who’s contract is so bad for so long and he’s a third liner

This checks a lot of boxes, but it doesn’t seem like a good idea.

Beauvillier is quietly very, very bad. Might benefit everyone to move him

No but he’s not one of the islanders most underrated players prior to this season was a top 3-4 forward who’s good both ways just has a lower shooting percentage I think if he played with Barzal he’d explode offensively
