We aren’t even gonna sniff a call back from Vancouver for Boeser/Garland/Miller if Marino isn’t involved. Tanger is also getting at least 8m minimum. Detroit isn’t giving a 2nd for Pettersson, also with the recent reports we may barely get anything in return for him.

There was just a report out of Pittsburgh that they may add a sweetener, just to move him out. Now, I think that's ridiculous and he is not a cap dump in that sense, but one could argue that even a 3rd is generous with how badly they want to move him and the current market.

With all that said, I'm still fine with a 3rd and other than Martinez, I can't think of a better trade fit.
