Description

I think Slaf is the right pick at 2. But hearing Management is looking at Nemec.
The O core is set for years to come. Wont be a terrible idea to add to the D core that is Hamilton, Bahl, Hughes and maybe Smith.

Contracts too high for Campbell and Miller
…and too low for Sharangovich and Siegenthaler.

If Habs take Slafkovsky, NJD should consider Nemec. But could also trade down to #3 or #4 if one of those guys wants Wright.

Personally, I don’t like Jiricek nearly as much as Nemec.

Who would trade up though? AZ will stay put and SEA wouldn't trade any assets since they really have none. PHI? At that point just draft the player you want at 2.
