TO says no, overpay for puljus rights and trying to shed cap with kassian contract. kulak was also really good for edm, so you'd be crazy to not resign him fo 2-2.5

Why would TO say no? They get Pulju who is like Kerfoot but can't play center but younger and cheaper (most likely). And Kassian is a cap dump but he could play on their fourth line as a grinder and give them an edge they want.

Mainly because Kerfoot has more utility than Puljujarvi and Kase is much better than Kassian

Three horrible trades for Edmonton. Why would the Oilers move from #29 to #40 just to trade away Ryan and Shore? They're bottom-6 forwards with a combined cap hit of $2.1 million. Puljujarvi is worth more than that stew, especially without retention on Muzzin's contract since the Toronto package has a higher cap hit than Edmonton's. And there's no reason to give up on Bourgeault yet.

Can’t see the Sharks paying a decent prospect for Edmonton’s cap dump

Is that the kid who won American Idol a few years ago? I didn't know he played hockey.

I mean I guess Detroit accepts. We don't need more bottom 6 forwards but those guys can have some value to us. Moving up in the draft would be nice.

Foegele is a pure cap dump. Not trading a promising prospect like Reedy for that turd.

meh not really a cap dump, he was playing pretty good for Edmonton during their run, I think he just needs a change

I agree unless it's for a big name like debrincat, then they should keep bourgault. He had a really really good memorial cup

Change him somewhere else. He isn't coming to SJ.

You lost every single trade. Really poor effort.

A 23 year old who has barely seen NHL ice and didn't do much when he did is not a "promising prospect". Every team has guys like that.

I don't think he needs a change of scenery at all - quite the opposite in fact. I think Foegele needs stability. He needs to get comfortable with his team, city and role.

He showed good chemistry with McLeod last year, I think I'd keep those two together. NST

yea but for 2.7 million, he was playing good with McLeod but I just didnt think he fit with the Oilers well, but I agree with you

He may end up being a cap casualty, but I'd rather keep him.

Reedy is a late bloomer that you clearly know nothing about. 6 points and 5 goals in his last ten games. You googled him, saw his age and made a flash judgement. Yeah, you're cool. BLOCK

Edmonton has McDavid, Draisaitl, Nugent-Hopkins, McLeod and Holloway as centers. Reedy has zero value for them.
