I think the Avs are going to need a D at a lower pricepoint after they lose Manson. Leafs wouldnt care about the press, they would use their media team to rehabilitate his image

Not nearly enough to get Gibson, If thats all you think hes worth why trade for him?

If you believe he solves your goaltending issues for the next 5 years you surely know that he gets much more than this

Anaheim isnt coming from a position of strength on him, hes had a rough 3 years. Robertson fits in their top 6 now and will be in his prime when their competitive

Mon ACGMs had the lead but TML ACGMs have closed the gap. Which one has the worst one?? Muzzin and Mrazek for a 20 goal scorer. That's going to be tough to beat.

Nick Robertson has played a total of 16 NHL games (1 g, 1a), and 49 AHL games. To think that he fits in their top 6 right now is hilarious.

They 100% are coming from a position of strength here, they have the most cap space in the league and need a starting goalie, and Gibson has publicly stated his desire to be a Duck his entire career Robertson does not fit in their top 6 now or the future

Now: Milano, Comtois, Henrique, Steel, Jones
Long Term: Milano, Comtois, Tracey, Pastujov

This is no where close to what it will take to get Gibson out of ANA, TORs spare parts doesnt even get a response from Pat Verbeek

Or Long term, where he would struggle to make the NHL roster in 2 years

Hilarious that a certain segment of the Toronto fanbase doesn't recognize the contradiction between taking on a $6.4 million cap hit for 5 years and then saying that the goalie is worth that $h!t.

We wouldn't trade one year of Anthony Stolarz for that garbage.

So far, Nick Robertson has failed to make the main roster three times and has shown every indication that he won't make the roster out of his fourth training camp, either.

I like the he's been bad for the last 3 years. We'll take him for the next 5 years. Anaheim has been bad. They've picked 9, 6, 3 the last 3 years, Picking 10th this year shows you how well he's played.

But, if Dostal's ready, Stolarz signs an extension and Anaheim gets a good return for Gibson...

The classic CF ACGM move of trashing a player you're trying to trade for so its justifiable (in their own minds) giving up nothing for players with high value

I can pull up any number of stats, GM/Executive polls, etc proving how valuable Gibson is and some people will just say "hE's BaD bUt I sTiLl ThInK hE sOlVeS oUr GoAlIe IsSuEs FoR tHe NeXt 5 yEaRs"

Dotsal still needs a year in the AHL, or at least a half year, the play of Stolarz is part of why ANA is willing to listen on Gibson

The only way mailloux is getting traded is for another RHD prospect, anyone suggesting they'll trade him when him and barron are they only prospect they have and their RHD is made up of petry (soon to be gone) savard and weidman ... they aint trading mailloux or barron for no one but another young talented RHD prospect
