Flyers basically already said there not trading up and especially Not for Konecny and a 3rd. The Talent differential from 2 to 5 isn't large enough to justify that. Nemec is the only one really worth trading up for.

It's this trade here combined with Smith for Garland straight up, which you can disagree with but I heard it was a legitimate offer that the Devils refused. I switched out Foote for Thompson but that can be changed back.

Nemec will be taken by the Kraken, I'm fairly confident in that. I'd do that trade as the Flyers if the Habs pass on Wright.

Canucks would not trade Garland for Smith 1 for 1. They have no need for Smith, they already have Hughes, OEL, Rathbone, and Dermott as LHD. If they move Garland it’ll be a top 4 RHD coming back

Oh, I think he will be too. But I think if the flyers were to trade up to #2 Nemec is the only one worth picking and of course Wright. But I really Doubt Hughes doesn't pick Wright I think their just screwing with everyone at this point.

Flyers trading up does not make sense. They will be glad to select whoever is available at 5OVR, whether it be Nemec, Jiricek, or Gauthier.

Yeah the rumor was from the deadline. If Dermott means they don't want Smith anymore that definitely ends any trade talks for Smith.

Yeah that’s way too lopsided in the Canucks favour. I’m not sure why the Devils would give either piece up for Miller, let alone both, but I’d be very happy if the Canucks can get either 2 OA or Bratt for Miller, which now seems like at least a small possibility after Seravalli’s report today. Still don’t see it happening though
