These are just general ideas of what I could see going down AT THE DRAFT. trade values are just guesstimated and would obviously change as required, so be kind

The Florida and Montreal trades would be what I would like to see and are obviously a bit more involved, but realistically not much action will happen this draft other than the odd move up/down
I think Wheeler will be moved in the off season
PLD probably won’t be moved unless it’s an offer that cannot be refused. He probably signs a 1yr extension and is moved at the TDL if the Jets are out by then.
At that stage, it’s full fire sale. FeFe and Helly would be moved as well.

Unlikely for the Kings, no cap space. But I think we would have liked Dillon. Understands Coach Todd McLellan's a night, 18-21 mins, big body, hits plenty, just not in the cards.

PLD wants to play in MTL and MTL only. He wants to be a Free Agent in 2024
MTL are rebuilding so they aren't trying to win right now
Why MTL wouldnt just wait and sign Dubois in 2024 without spending assets ?

Is there a useful winger or C with cap you could stand losing in a Dillon trade?

All our available centers make the league minimum and still need time to develop, unlikely Blake moves Kupari, Vilardi, Turcotte, JAD, Thomas, Etc. for a rental (especially one we can't afford).

From the Kings standpoint to improve at LD2 we need to move one of Walker and/or Iafallo for cap space. In both cases our defense would be impacted, so it feels like we are in a stalemate.

We will likely sign Edler as a depth guy and try to tough it out with a balalnce of Bjornfot, Edler, Moverare and Walker (on his off side) to balance out the left side.

Montreal may be rebuilding but your acting like PLD is 30 and doesn’t fit your timeline right now and will be worn out when you guys are contending when in fact he would be in his prime.
I get Montreal fans perspective but the NHL but a lot can happen in 2 years

PLD isnt close to being worth first overall. Wright's floor is what PLD is now, his ceiling is a lot higher so MTL doesn't even consider this
