Isles have no reason to move Beau, they just solved their 2 LD.

Kraken don’t have the pieces necessary to acquire Necas, and they don’t have anyone the Cane would package Necas with to acquire.

Rangers would do Kravtsov + for Gourde.

islanders would do beau for dunn if they can find a replacement for him elsewhere.

Lamoriello said he’d like to get a defensive and offensive defenseman.

Salo will be the 3 LD. Trade Beau and his speed is counterproductive to add a guy like Dunn.

Salo is a kid who hasn’t proven himself at the NHL level. Clearly, Lamoriello wants to win now, he traded the 13oa. Hard to see him trusting a kid like Salo at a permanent spot in the roster.

Salo is 24 this season, not really a kid. He is ready now, looked good in the 20 games he played last year and will be cheap to save money for a forward acquisition. The Isles should also not be looking at moving Beau at all as the league is about speed and the Isles do not have much of that up front.

Before the Romanov trade, yes. But Dunn is too expensive. I still think they'd be open to trading Beau if we get an upgrade at forward or another really good, cheap defenseman.



I hope Salo isn't on the roster next year. I wasn't feeling him.
