    Additional Details:
Now Reports have been going around that Blackhawks are most likely not to qualify him making Strome an UFA. Either way if he is or isn't and if Malkin is or isn't on the team. They should go after Strome. Strome had actually been one of the best players on the Hawks in the past couple of years. Now back during the 2020 offseason. Pittsburgh try to trade him and originally had a deal for him with Matt Murray going to Chicago but They couldn't Murray signed a contract. I think Pittsburgh should go after him again

I like the team but you got some money to spend - bring in a 3rd line winger. You could still fit Rakell in here

solid team,,, Strome is absolutely the top target for the Pens right now but i'd prefer him at 3C and signing a different 2C in the event Malkin walks (eg., Trocheck or Miller). ideally Malkin stays at 2C and Strome slots behind him.

& since Nichushkin is sadly looking to be re-signed by COL, one of Niederreiter/Rakell/Burakovsky would be good replacements. i imagine the Aves can't afford both Nichushkin and Burakovsky but idk their situation that well

If malkin walks I want them to get strome and then sign johnny hockey. It is 100% doable even though hextall would never hand out a contract that big. You could even do it with the exact team you built here while putting gaudreau instead of nichushkin.
