Trading a 1C and a 2nd for a 2C seems like really bad asset management. And that Karlsson trade is awful too

You realize that the major part of a full rebuild is picking high at the draft, right? What's the point of clearing out the old contracts and sucking for two years if we've given away our first and second round picks for the next two seasons, especially considering how good the draft is going to be next year?

This is horribly planned out and makes less than no sense.


EDIT: LMAO oh man, it gets even worse - you traded away our picks and set us up to lose half the guys you traded for - no way could we give Meier, Cirelli, Balcers, Byram, and Merkley qualifying offers and new contracts in the same year. I'm actually laughing, this is genuinely one of the worst thought out rosters I've seen on this site, and that's saying something.
