Jokes aside, 3mx2 for Domi seems a bit much. He had a good points total last year but very few goals, and he didn't look that great when he was traded to CAR. I expect him to get a 1 year deal similar in the 2s unless they are unable to add any of the other guys that they might cost 3m+.

Brown would be a lateral move from Kerfoot or Engvall as a 3rd liner. Drop his minutes down and he puts up closer to 30 points last season than 40. Why move all the assets? Just take the Murray payment and keep the players.

Fortunately, the Kevin Fiala acquisition and Adrian Kempe signing have now made all Jake-Muzzin-to-Los-Angeles trades impossible. Pretty soon they should die out, as even Toronto fans will eventually get the numerical message.
