Samsonov is expecting between 3-3.5 so probably won't get him at that number. That'd be a sick tandem though.

I think he might but i dont think he would just do it for the sake of doing it or for just the cap space. I think hed only do it if there was a clear need for that cap (like johnny hockey).

Don't think Isles fans understand how good Romanov was when you see them giving him couple years at under 2.5M.

i see that his underlying numbers are mid and he didn’t put up big points. 2.25x2 is a perfectly reasonable bridge deal for him. super similar to what pulock got and more than what pelech got in these same scenarios. liljegren just got 1.4 on a bridge and had a better season.
