Considering Jrob is easily worth that, Dallas shouldn't have to think about it before matching.

But seriously JRob should be throwing a marner level tantrum over his contract, anything below 10 is a discount he is that good

I don’t know if that’s the case. Depending on what Oettinger asks for, this might be more than enough to snag Robertson. And we can’t forget about either Klingberg or his replacement, which will probably be about 6mil in cap right there. I could definitely see a team offer sheeting Oettinger at about an 8mil AAV, probably on an 8 year deal or so. The Stars have about 13mil in cap space to resign Robertson, Oettinger, and replace Klingberg. I’m not sure if Dallas can afford to match that.
