Necas is a great start I think we would be looking for Morrow instead of Gardiner, if Gardiner was involved he is a cap dump and would require the canes to add, I think a base package of Necas Morrow and 2nd would get the conversation going

Big problem is Canes can’t afford Miller without a dump. So your offer is feasible but Canes would have to deal Gardiner in a separate deal to dump his cap hit.

If VAN likes Bear, he could be part of the package as well. But he obviously doesn't hold huge value. I don't think Gardiner would interest the Canucks, and they're too tight to the ceiling now to take on a cap dump.

If that is a concern--then add Garland to the trade. Carolina will be right up against the cap anyways so they could use his LTIR cap exemption.
